Puppy Information

We have plans for a spring 2009 litter with Grandviews Midnight Angel (Mia) and Ch. Grandviews Mister Magoo (Magoo). This was such a successful pairing in 2008 that we've decided to repeat it. Following that litter we may breed Grandviews Peanutty in June, for puppies ready to go in October 2009. We are taking names to determine the interest for puppies. We need to take the opportunity to brag a little bit about some of the puppies we've raised.Below left is Cedarcroft Romulus, aka Rommy, son of Cedarcroft Peanutty and Ch.Sanhedrin Firechief Larchedenoe, pictured at about 7 months old. He's Breathtaking! Rommy lives in Fredericton with his family, Phil, Tanya and Thurston.

Below right is Rommy with, mom Tanya and little brother Thurston. Rommy is about 8 months old in this photo and is 2 months older than Thurston, who thinks it's very cool to have a huge, hairy big brother. Rommy is a perfect family dog. He is so gentle and has that laid back personality and intelligence our dogs are becoming famous for.

This is Cedarcroft Midnight Belle (Mia & Ch.Magoo) was the last puppy to leave us. Pictured here at 17 weeks old she could have a job in the circus with this terrific balancing act! Belle lives in Fredericton with her wonderful owners, Corey & Stephanie. We hear that she is a star pupil at obedience class!!

Chris Young has sent some recent photos of Cedarcroft Aristotle, Ari. He's pictured at about 7 months of age and is definitely the best looking boy in Bridgewater! He's a son of our female Grandviews Peanutty and Ch. Sanhedrin Firechief Larchedenoe.

Puppies Videos - Mia & Magoo's litter born April 2008

On April 18, 2008, Mia and Magoo became the proud parents of 9 puppies, 5 girls and 4 boys. Mia & Magoo are two outstanding, registered, solid black german shepherd dogs that come from Grandview Kennels in Ontario. They are both X-rayed hips & elbows OVC, are in excellent health & have fabulous temperaments. We've had these two since they were 4 months old and they're truly members of the family.

Fall is here. Where DID the summer go? The foals have been weaned. All the dogs and horses are starting to grow their winter coats and the flowers have pretty well died off. We had a reasonably good haul from our garden. The horses really enjoyed all of the fresh carrots.

Cedarcroft Midnight Oil, Deuce on Aug. 29/08. He exemplifies what we're trying to accomplish with our breeding program. To quote his owner, Donna " he is a wonderful, friendly and beautiful pup", "He is a love and is loved by all he meets."Donna takes Deuce to obedience classes and to her cottage. He loves children and other dogs. He's house trained and usually very quiet and well behaved....except for the odd "puppy mischevious behaviour" ;o) , which is pretty well expected with a 4 month old puppy.

Our puppies are priced in the $1000.- $1500.00 range + hst with a 2 year H/E dysplasia guarantee and our commitment of lifetime support. This concludes a very successful breeding program for 2008. The next litter is planned for spring 2009.
